Here’s my November Library Love! How did you do with library books this month? Thanks Shannon for this check-in!
Read
- Six of Crows, Leigh Bardugo (awesome!)
- Station Eleven, Emily St. John Mandel (scary good!)
- The Book with No Picture, BJ Novak (how many times can my kid say “Boo Boo Butt” in one month?)
Checked Out To Be Read
- Soundless by Richelle Mead
- Nil, Lynne Matson
- Breaking Bad Season 2
- Fates and Furies, Lauren Groff
- The Name of the Wind, Patrick Rothfuss
- The Beekeeper’s Apprentice, Laurie King
- The Sea of Tranquility, Katja Millay
- Tricky Twenty-Two, Janet Evanovich
We’re in an American Girl phase at my house
- Meet Samantha
- Meet Cecile
Returned Unread
- Magic Treehouse #1
- Carry On, Rainbow Rowell
- The Witches (80 pgs in) – way too heavy for me for now
- Ready Player One audio – heard it was too much cursing for the child in the car
- Lemony Snickett The Bad Beginning- audio
- Sekret by Lindsay Smith (20 pages in) just not feeling it
Unwatched
- Poldark (sob!)
With all these library books out though maybe I will make it through Shaina’s 12 Books of Christmas? Even possibly finish the Roofbeam Reader 2015 TBR Challenge? We shall see…
READ FATES AND FURIES RIGHT NOW.
I love The Book With No Pictures. It’s so funny! He’s a genius for coming up with that idea. And kids are SO DELIGHTED by it.
AH! I will try to start F&F today. If not then after the Beekeeper’s Apprentice. Kind of feeling a mystery.
Totally a genius book! She is rolling around laughing every time.
I so wish The Book With No Pictures had come out when my kids were little. I kind of want to buy it anyway. Just because.
My kids have been in an American Girl phase on and off – they really liked the mini-mysteries.
*coughs*
Over 20 this month for me
My library TBR is huge, too! I went wayyyy overboard requesting in November and now they’re all just flowing in.
Always the way!
We’re in the middle of Season 2 of Breaking Bad – loving it!
I love The Book With No Pictures, maybe even more than the kids do. This is probably an unnecessary recommendation, but if you haven’t done so already, check out We Are in a Book. So funny, and great for reading out loud.
