I’m getting massive TBR guilt over this week’s Broke and Bookish Top Ten topic! I know there are awesome books that I didn’t add to this list – and I need to get to reading! Also, I know -I kind of have the most cracked out random reading lists.
- My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You I’m Sorry by Fredrik Backman
- The Tusk that did the Damage by Tania James
- The Gracekeepers by Kirsty Logan
- The Sparrow Sisters by Ellen Herrick
- H is for Hawk by Helen MacDonald
- Because You’ll Never Meet Me by Leah Thomas
- Fiercome Manor by Kate Riordan
- The Marriage Game: A Novel of Queen Elizabeth I by Allison Weir
- Carry On by Rainbow Rowell
- Balm: A Novel by Dolen Perkins-Valdez
What’s on your TTT?
Oh man, the cover for My Grandmother…is hitting me in all the feels. I need to find out if he has other books that are possibly in the process of getting translated. I’m jealous that you still have this to look forward to!
So many books, so little time eh?
I direct you to your email re: Backman! So so so many books.
THE GRACEKEEPERS! That was one of my favorite books from last year. I love all of Kirsty’s books! I hope you get to read it soon.
Oh that is good to know! This was a great TTT because it reminded me of what I was excited about that I need to go back to!
H is for Hawk almost made my list. It was all over the place in Best of 2015 Lists!
I started it in 2015 so I almost didn’t count it. I really need to try again soon.
My Grandmother looks really interesting. I love the cover.
Well that last one sound good
I just saw that My Grandmother is available at the library by my work. Now that I have a little distance to Ove, I am ready for more Backman. There’s just the little matter of all the other books on my TBR…
I keep seeing H is for Hawk at the library, it seems to be really popular. Might have to give it a go this year as I thought I might try to read more non-fiction, and I will DEFINITELY read Carry On this year.
thats an amazing cover of My Grandmother… I just bought Carry On last week and I hope to read it after I finish with Playing James. Reallyyyy hope it lives up our expectations
I hadn’t heard of most of those. I may have to add The Marriage Game to my TBR, since I am kind of obsessed with Elizabeth I!
CARRY ON and H IS FOR HAWK are both on my list too. I bought both of them, now I just need to read them!
