This week’s Top Ten Tuesday from the Broke and the Bookish is the Top Ten Books on your Spring To Read List. As usual my list is totally cracked out and random. This is clearly how my mind works. This should be a good mix of murdery, interesting, fun and heartbreaking!
- Jane Steele by Lyndsay Faye “Reader I murdered him.” WHAT – My next read I think.
- Man Tiger by Eka Kurniawan
- Five Days at Memorial: Life and Death in a Storm Ravaged Hospital by Sheri Fink
- June by Miranda Beverly Whittemore (I loved Bittersweet so much!)
- The Bad Ass Librarians of Timbuktu by Joshua Hammer
- Down with the Shine by Kate Karyus-Quinn
- Roses & Rot by Kat Howard
- Britt Marie was Here by Frederik Backman
- Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire
- Happy Family by Tracy Barone
What’s on your TTT? Any amazing books I need to add to my list?
Yay! So much great looking stuff on here! June (b/c Bittersweet was amazing!) and Happy Family are on my new releases list for spring and Five Days at Memorial is on my backlist TBR!
I’ve been hearing a lot about Jane Steele lately, but I confess I’ve never read Jane Eyre so I’m not sure I would get as much enjoyment out of it. I’ll have to read both at some point. My TTT
Jane Eyre is definitely worth a read! I’m hoping Jane Steele lives up to the hype.
Jane Steel looks so good and I really want to read Britt Marie was Here. I hope you get a chance to read these! You’ve got great picks!
I am really excited for both of those!
I got a few good ones too
Please let me know what you think of Jane Steele. I think I’ve shared my feelings on the classics reboots, especially where the Brontes and Jane Austen are concerned…that said, I am planning on reading Eligible…
YES. More BACKMAN!
Wow, you’ve got me intrigued by Jane Steele now! And I would like to get around to that Seanan McGuire book…I love her October Daye series!
Yes! I’m in love with October Date and her Incryptid series too!
I’ve had the first Incryptid book on my shelf for YEARS and for some reason have never gotten around to it. I’ll have to change that ASAP!
Do it! The mice alone are worth it. Let me know what you think!
I’ve never heard of Jane Steele, but after reading the summary I have to say that I am very intrigued by the premise. I hope that you enjoy it!
I hadn’t heard of The Bad Ass Librarians of Timbuktu yet, but the title alone was enough to make me curious! I checked it out on GoodReads and it looks awesome. So many good books coming out this year! 🙂
A wide ranging selection here 🙂
I like to keep it random 😉
I need to read The Nightingale before I have to give it back to a friend moving in May. Nothing like a deadline!
